Dear Castleknock Celtic Football Club members
The New Year dawns and all our teams have been getting a well earned break. We want to take a moment to reflect on the year we’ve had together as a club. Whether on the pitch, cheering from the sidelines, or supporting behind the scenes, every one of you has contributed to making Castleknock Celtic FC a special place to be.
It has been a year of mixed emotions for all connected with the Club. Having placed the club in great standing within our community, our Chairman Brian Cummins sadly passed away. He has left a great legacy for us all to fulfil. He would be proud to look at his vision for the club being progressed. We also take some time to reflect on some of our volunteers, coaches and members who are undergoing some personal health challenges. We wish them all a full recovery and look forward to seeing them in Porterstown in 2025.
This year, we’ve also celebrated victories, learned from challenges, and hopefully made many friends. It is heartening to see our players proudly wearing their Castleknock colours which is a nice new addition to our community streets.
To our players, thank you for your hard work, determination, and your spirit of fair play. Your commitment to improving every week inspires us all.
To the coaches and volunteers, your countless hours and unwavering support are the backbone of this club, and we couldn’t do it without you.
To our supporters, your cheers, encouragement, and loyalty help our teams greatly.
With the New Year now upon us, together we can build on what has been achieved. We have set greater goals for our Club both on and off the pitch. This will require even more enthusiasm and dedication from all involved to achieve our Club goals, however we have no doubt that together we can achieve it. On behalf of the Castleknock Celtic FC Executive Committee, we wish you and your families a healthy and Happy New Year, and hope you had a most enjoyable Christmas.
