Congrats to our Under-12 Girls team who put on a great display against a resolute Killarney Celtic team to progress to the next round of the All-Ireland SFAI Trophy competition. Goals from Rebecca Farrell, Patrice O’Dwyer, and a hat-trick from Ciara Williams sealed a famous victory. It is no exaggeration to say that the football displayed by the teams was some of the most entertaining this season. Well done to all who arranged a wonderful day of football with the new All Weather Pitch being the venue for Girls football throughout the morning and into the afternoon when the SFAI game took place. We were delighted to have as guests at this festival of football Minister Jack Chambers, Senator Emer Curry, Councillor Howard Mahony and Councillor Siobhan Shovlin.
